What Information About Me Is Collected and Stored?

Personal information is any information that can individually identify you and includes, among other things, your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, credit card, billing and contact information. Non-personal information includes information that does not personally identify you, but it may include tracking and usage information about your location, demographics, use of the Services and the Internet. We may use a third party to store certain information you provide to us.

 

We collect information about you from various sources including information you provide when you register for our Services and information we collect when you access or use our Services.

 

Personal Information – Generally

 

There are a number of circumstances in which you may supply us with your personal information through our application. The following lists the most common ways in which we may collect your personal information.

 

 

Personal Information – Information Collected from Applicant Drivers

 

If you apply to be a driver with our service, you will provide your name, address, email address, phone number, and a password. In addition, you will provide your social security number and driver’s license information. You agree that fleetzen may conduct a commercial background check as well as a driving history check from time to time, both as a part of your initial application and from time to time thereafter as fleetzen may so require. Applicant drivers must supply bank account information to establish automated payout. fleetzen may store bank account information with our third party service provider. We will also collect and use the driver’s vehicle license and other vehicle information, as well as photographs of the vehicle and the driver. While drivers are signed into our Services, we collect tracking information to connect drivers with the nearest customers. We will provide to potential customers your name, location, picture and vehicle details.

 

 

Non-Personal Information

 

In addition, when you interact with the Services, we may collect certain information that does not identify you individually and our servers may automatically keep an activity log of your use of our Services (“Non-Personal Information”). They are restricted from using, selling, distributing or altering this data in any way other than to provide the requested services to the Services.

Fleetzen Communications

 

E-mail and voice communications and text messages sent from us, through us or enabled by us to facilitate communications between drivers and you are designed to make your fleetzen experience more efficient. Fleetzen uses a third party to mask driver and your cell phone numbers to help make voice and text communications more private while using the Service. By participating in the Services, you specifically agree to accept and consent to receiving voice communications, e-mail communications and text messages initiated from us or through us, which include, without limitation: voice calls from a driver arranging or confirming the Services, message notification e-mails, e-mails or text messages informing you about potential available drivers or customers, of promotions we run, and of new and existing features we provide. Standard voice rates and text messaging charges applied by your cell phone carrier will apply to text messages or voice calls received through the Services. If you change your mobile phone service provider, the notification service may be deactivated for your phone number and you may need to re-enroll in the notification service. Fleetzen reserves the right to cancel the notification service at any time. If you do not wish to receive any voice or e-mail communications or text messages, please do not use the Services.

 

What Steps Are Taken To Keep Personal Information Secure?

 

We are concerned about ensuring the security of your Personal Information. We exercise great care in providing secure transmission of your information from your device to our servers. Personal Information collected by our Services are stored in secure operating environments that are not available to the public. Specifically, in the case of your payment information, we will transmit such information through our secure channels directly to our PCI compliant third party payment processors, who will store your data on their systems.   Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose your Personal Information to you. Please understand, however, that while we try our best to safeguard your Personal Information once we receive it, no transmission of data over the Internet or any other public network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

 

How Can We Transfer Your Personal Information?

Your information collected through the Services may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which fleetzen, its Clients, Affiliates or service providers maintain facilities. Fleetzen, its Clients, Affiliates, or service providers may transfer information that we collect about you, including personal information across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. If you are located in the United States or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from US law, please note that we may transfer information, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

Following termination or deactivation of your account, fleetzen, its Clients, Affiliates, or its service providers may retain information (including your profile information) and user Content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, and/or audit purposes. What Happens When I Link To or From Another Website?

 

This Services may contain links to websites operated by third parties. Please be advised that the practices described in this Privacy Policy for fleetzen do not apply to information gathered through these other websites. We are not responsible for the actions and privacy policies of third parties and other websites.

Governing Law

 

These Services are published in the United States. We attempt to protect the Personal Information of all users of our Services and we attempt to comply with local data protection and consumer rights laws to the extent they may apply to the fleetzen services, but our Services are located and targeted to United States citizens and our policies are directed at compliance with those laws. If you are uncertain whether this privacy policy conflicts with the applicable local privacy laws where you are located, you should not submit your Personal Information to fleetzen.

 

Assignment

 

We may change our ownership or corporate organization while providing the Services. We may also sell certain assets associated with the Services. As the delivery of voice and text messages are integral to the functioning of the Services, you will not be able to opt out of receiving them. To stop receiving voice and text messages, you must discontinue your use of the Services. We will never send you text or voice messages except in connection with your use of the Services, inside the specific time frame you are using the Services.
